(Do you think the current measures are enough to solve the issue of medical deserts?)

✍️ Model Answer (DELF B2 style):

🟦 Introduction

🟨 Conclusion

Translation:
🟦 Introduction
In France, many regions suffer from a lack of doctors. These areas are called “medical deserts.” This issue affects around one in ten people.

🟩 Development 1
The government has introduced several measures. For example, it offers financial aid to medical students in exchange for their commitment to settle in these areas. By training more doctors and promoting the quality of life in rural areas, authorities hope that health professionals will stay.

🟥 Development 2
However, despite these efforts, there are no doctors at all in some villages. This is a serious problem: residents must travel far or go to emergency services, which are already overwhelmed.

🟨 Conclusion
In my opinion, the current measures are useful but not enough. We must go further by truly valuing rural medicine and sustainably supporting young professionals in their settlement.
